From Fery to Zverev: Wimbledon's quarter-finals delivered on their promise
Between Arthur Fery's incredible run, becoming only the fourth wildcard in history to reach a Grand Slam semi-final, and Marta Kostyuk and Linda Noskova's wins on the women's side, Wimbledon's day 10 delivered plenty of drama.

Day 10 at Wimbledon 2026 delivered all four quarter-finals, mixing a huge upset on the men's side with more predictable results in the women's draw.
Fery's fairy tale continues
British wildcard Arthur Fery kept his extraordinary run going, beating Italy's Flavio Cobolli in three sets (6-4, 7-6, 6-0) to become just the fourth wildcard in history to reach a Grand Slam semi-final. Fery struck 27 winners to only 15 unforced errors, earning standing ovations from the home crowd after dominating the third set.
Zverev overpowers Fritz
Germany's Alexander Zverev put in a commanding display to beat American Taylor Fritz in three sets (6-4, 6-4, 6-2), snapping a seven-match losing streak against him. Fritz, hampered by a knee issue, needed a medical timeout in the third set — a defeat that extends America's men's Grand Slam drought to 23 years.
Kostyuk and Noskova book their spots
On the women's side, Ukraine's Marta Kostyuk (12th seed) reached her first Wimbledon semi-final by beating Italy's Jasmine Paolini in straight sets (6-3, 6-2) without facing a single break point, calling the experience of playing on Centre Court "a dream come true." Czech Linda Noskova (9th seed) advanced by beating Belgium's Elise Mertens (6-3, 7-5).
The semi-final lineup
In the men's draw, Jannik Sinner will face Novak Djokovic, while Alexander Zverev takes on Arthur Fery. In the women's draw, Coco Gauff meets Karolina Muchova, and Marta Kostyuk faces Linda Noskova.
